The early warning and monitoring system for floods is a solution within the XSENSE ecosystem of XVISION, using radar sensors to monitor water level changes in rivers, lakes, reservoirs, or frequently flooded areas… from which early warnings can be issued to help people cope in a timely manner.

XSENSE monitoring system
The monitoring system includes sensors for water level, weather, rainfall, etc. that are directly installed on bridge pillars, drainage culverts or attached to nearby poles, with a maximum distance between the sensor and water surface of up to 10m. The entire system can operate independently without external power source, and the signal is sent directly to the server via mobile networks or satellite.

Remote water monitoring
The flood monitoring network can be expanded to cover larger areas using independent and continuously connected water level sensors that can communicate with a central control unit through the LoRaWAN network.
